Welcome

Welcome to Broadwater Stopover Tourist Park, set in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia with never ending lush green grass, located 25kms south of Ballina and a 40 minute scenic drive to Byron Bay.

Broadwater is a small settlement situated on the Richmond River in a sub-tropical paradise, 5 minutes to pristine unspoilt surf beaches and rainforests which makes an ideal base for all water sports, scenic drives, bushwalking, and bird watching. It is also centrally located to many excellent tourist destinations.

Situated next to the Koala Sanctuary in Broadwater, the Stopover Tourist Park is often referred to as having a truly welcoming friendly atmosphere and is a very clean and picturesque park.

Feel free even just to drop in and pick up tourist brochures and meet Bart and Tina Mckew, the onsite owner operators. The Mckew family moved here in October 2008 and fell head over heels with the area, its beauty and the friendly locals and are more than happy to help in any way they can.

Offering shady grass or concrete sites (some drive-through), a swimming pool, very clean amenities and disabled facilities. Also available are a range of fully self contained cabins some with ensuites.

PETS WELCOME (conditions apply)

An off leash beach near by and lovely walking tracks that back onto the tourist park makes a great holiday for your furry friends too. There is even a doggy bath at the tourist park if you’re going somewhere special.
